Grants of up to $50,000 are available for projects that integrate open payments standards into coursework, workshops, or student-led initiatives.

Students who complete Interledger-funded coursework leave with practical experience building on open payment standards ā skills that translate directly into fintech, open banking, and digital inclusion careers.
Research, curriculum development, faculty training, and student programme coordination that meaningfully engages with digital financial systems and the Interledger Protocol.
Accredited universities and colleges developing financial literacy programs for students from underserved communities are eligible to apply. Projects must have a clear student-facing component and a commitment to open-source outputs where applicable.
Grants of up to $50,000 are available per project. The final amount awarded depends on the scope and timeline of your proposal.
